An Orangery is similar to a conservatory but typically has a glazed lantern set into a flat perimeter roof. This allows plenty of light into the room. They a great for extending living rooms, kitchens or connecting two properties and commonly have significant brickwork sections as part of the side structure.
All our orangeries are manufactured to extremely high standards by timeserved craftsmen who take pride in their work. All building and installation work is carried out under the personal supervision of a SPA director.
We take care of everything including planning permission – where necessary, all the foundation and building work, the careful installation of the orangery itself, as well as the ancillary work such as electrics, heating and floor tiling.
Also, before you decide to go ahead with your orangery you will receive a full written quotation along with a full CAD design service so you can see how your orangery will look.

A brief history of Orangeries
Orangeries become popular during the 17th century for growing exotic fruits and plants, with orange trees being the main intended plant for propagation – which is where the name orangery originated. Orangeries soon became a status symbol amongst the wealthy and are still seen on many grand properties.
Today orangeries capture the refined elegance of these bygone times while providing light, airy contemporary living spaces – a perfect addition to any home.
We offer an unparalleled choice of cane furniture, blinds and shades, as well as ceramic, slate and terracotta floorings. Our interiors department would be pleased to offer advice and guidance in choosing the right furnishings for your conservatory.
